How long are skunk’s toes?
They stink so much no one knows.

When somebody once tried to find out
The vile smell made them scream and shout.

To escape the pong they ran very fast
Until they reached the road at last.

Jumped in their car and drove away
The stink was just too bad to stay.

We can study their tracks without the smell
But do you just count toes or claws as well?

The toes are short, and the claws are long
With needle points that are sharp and strong.

We see what they look like and where they go
But the actual measure is hard to know.
